About Me
I have over 25 years of experience as a marine biologist and statistician. Throughout my career I have applied my statistical expertise to a range of marine issues, including estimates of fishing effort and human use, assessments of marine populations, long-term coral reef monitoring, spatial modeling of coral reef populations, and assessments of the effectiveness of Marine Protected Areas and reef restoration activities.
I have worked across the Pacific with international conservation agencies, non-profits, and governments, including over 10 years of experience with US regulatory permitting in the coral reef environment. I earned a doctorate from the University of Hawaii, and I am a registered professional biologist who resides in British Columbia, Canada.
